New Delhi. West Indies Cricket Team reached Islamabad on Monday (January 6) for its first Test series in Pakistan in 18 years for the Test series against Pakistan A. West Indies last toured Pakistan for a Test series in 2006. However, in the meantime, West Indies has come to Pakistan twice for the white ball series.

The West Indies team will play a three-day practice match against Pakistan Shaheens (Pakistan A team) from January 10 in Islamabad before the opening Test to be played in Multan from January 17. The second test of the series will be played in Multan from January 25. This will be the last series of both the teams in the current session of the ICC World Test Championship (2023-2025). Both the teams are at the bottom position in the points table.

Pakistan A squad: Imam-ul-Haq (captain), Ahmed Bashir, Ahmed Safi Abdullah, Ali Zaryab, Hasibullah, Hussain Talat, Kashif Ali, Mohammad Huraira, Mohammad Rameez Jr., Mohammad Suleman, Musa Khan, Omair bin Yusuf, Rohail Nazir and Saad Khan.
