The trailer of ‘Manorathangal’, a new anthology series based on stories written by Malayalam writer MT Vasudevan Nair, was released on Monday, July 22. It features 9 stories written by him/her and directed by 8 filmmakers, featuring Kamal Haasan, Mammootty, Mohanlal and Fahadh Faasil among others. The nine interconnected stories, set in Kerala, talk about the contradictions in human behaviour. The trailer sees Kamal introducing the stories along with several actors. ‘Manorathangal’ will stream on ZEE5 from August 15. ‘Olavum Theeravam’ is directed by Priyadarshan and stars Mohanlal, while ‘Kadugannava Oru Yathra Kurippu’ is directed by Ranjith and stars Mammootty.

Priyadarshan has also directed ‘Shilikhitham’ starring Biju Main, Shanthi Krishna and Joy Mathew. ‘Kaazhcha’ sees Shyamprasad as the director and Parvathy Thiruvothu and Harish Uthaman in the lead roles. Aswathy Nair’s ‘Vilpana’ stars Madhu and Asif Ali while Mahesh Narayanan’s Sherlock stars Fahadh Faasil and Zarina Moidu.

Jayarajan Nair’s Swargam Thurakkunna Samayam stars Kailash, Indrans, Nedumudi Venu, NG Panicker and Surabhi Lakshmi. Santosh Sivan has directed Abhayam Thedi Vendum starring Siddique, Ishit Yamini and Nazir. Kadalkkattu stars Indrajith and Aparna Balamurali and is directed by Ratheesh Ambat.
