Tinder’s survey revealed that 43% of GenZs in India consider festivals and cultural events as their first choice for their first date. Apart from this, 38% of GenZs are searching for their date for a serious relationship during this time. One in three of them uses Tinder to search for a date, which includes both traditional and modern dating.

Reason for first date in festival

According to the survey, GenZs believe that the festive season is the best time to make new connections. During this time, everyone is relaxed and enjoying the happiness of the festival. With the activities of the festive season, one gets a chance to understand and know a new person.

The right time to meet the family

This survey also mentions introducing the partner to the family. Regarding the people of Mumbai, it has been said that 38% GenZs choose festivals and cultural events to introduce their partner to the family. So that there is no pressure and the meeting can take place without any tension. It is easy to bring a friend home and introduce him/her to the family.
