New Delhi. New Zealand’s Tim Southee has made the last Test of his/her career memorable. Tim Southee, known for swing bowling, showed the swing of his/her bat on Saturday. Tim Southee hit three sixes in the third test match against England. With this, he/she has equaled Chris Gayle in terms of hitting most sixes in Test cricket.

Now there are only three batsmen in the world who have hit more sixes than Tim Southee. The surprising thing is that no Indian batsman has hit as many sixes as Tim Southee has. For a player who was never considered an all-rounder, his/her standing at fourth place in the list of dominant batsmen can surprise anyone. If Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, Virender Sehwag and Tim Southee are not in the list, then all we can say is that it is amazing.

Tim Southee had announced his/her retirement even before the start of the New Zealand-England Test series. he/she had said that the third Test of the series would also be his/her last international match. This match started on Saturday, 14 December in Hamilton. By the end of play on the first day of the match, New Zealand scored 315 runs for 9 wickets.

Captain Tom Latham scored the maximum 63 runs for New Zealand. Mitchell Santner played an unbeaten inning of 50 runs.
