New Delhi. The Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will start from August 21. Earlier, Pakistan has dropped one of its spinners from the team. Pakistan’s star spinner Abrar Ahmed will not be able to play the first Test match against Bangladesh. Which will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 21. Abrar has taken 38 wickets in the six red-ball matches played so far.

According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board, Abrar has been released, and he/she will now play for Pakistan Shaheens in the second four-day match against Bangladesh A. PCB said, “Spinner Abrar Ahmed has been released from the Pakistan Test squad and will now represent Pakistan Shaheens in the second four-day match against Bangladesh ‘A’. Which will start on Tuesday 20 August at the Islamabad Club.

The press release said, “This decision has been taken after the selectors decided to go with all the fast bowlers in the first match of the ICC World Test Championship against Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on August 21.
