This player hit 6 sixes in 6 balls in DPL, considers Virat Kohli as his/her idol, hopes to play for RCB


New DelhiPriyansh Arya, who is performing brilliantly in the Delhi Premier League (DPL), wears jersey number 18 like his/her idol legendary batsman Virat Kohli and hopes to one day play for his/her team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL. Priyansh, who became the first player to hit six sixes in an over in the current tournament, said that he/she is not giving much importance to the possibility of his/her being selected in the big auction of the Indian Premier League at the moment.

Priyansh is the most successful batsman of the team, scoring 602 runs with the help of two centuries in nine innings. Apart from an average of 75.25, he/she has scored runs at a brilliant strike rate of 198.0. In an interview given to ‘PTI Video’, Priyansh said, “Virat Kohli is my favorite cricketer, I want to play for RCB. My favorite team is RCB and I like Virat Kohli very much, I like his/her aggression. I also like to play aggressive cricket. he/she is my idol.”

Talking about the six consecutive sixes, he/she said, “I had it in my mind that if a left-arm spinner comes to bowl, I will target him/her. After the fourth six, I started believing that I can hit six sixes and will do so. Ayush (Badoni) supported me and told me to do so.”

Priyansh, who plays for South Delhi Superstars, can become the highest run-scorer in a season of state T20 leagues in India and has his/her eyes set on the DPL trophy. he/she praised captain Ayush Badoni for his/her leadership skills and said that he/she always asks everyone to go out on the field and play their natural game.
