India vs Australia T20 Sanju Samson: India has announced the team for the five-match T20 series to be played against Australia. Sanju Samson has not got a place in Team India for this series. He has been out of the team for a long time. Sanju was not included in the team even for the World Cup 2023. He has performed well on many occasions and has a good record in domestic matches.

Samson played the last T20 match for Team India in August 2023 against Ireland in Dublin. The last ODI match was played in August 2023. Sanju has not got much opportunity in international cricket. But his domestic record has been good. Samson has scored 347 runs in 21 T20 innings for India. He has scored 390 runs in 12 ODI innings. Samson has not got a place in the team on most of the occasions and this trend is still continuing.

Sanju has scored 6190 runs overall in T20 format. During this period he has scored 3 centuries and 40 half-centuries. He has scored 3074 runs in 117 List A matches. He has scored a double century in this format. Samson has scored one century and 18 half-centuries in List A.

India has appointed Suryakumar Yadav as the captain for the T20 series to be played against Australia from 23 November. Ruturaj Gaikwad will be the vice-captain. Many new players like Ishan Kishan, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Verma, Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma have got a chance in the team. Washington Sundar and Akshar Patel are also part of this team. The Indian team will play the last match of this series on 3 December in Bangalore. India has given break to senior players from the T20 series.
