Sharing his workout routine, Karan says that he works out 5-6 days a week through upper body/lower body splits or push/pull/leg splits. My fitness secret It’s 100% diet and 100% exercise, not 80% diet and 20% exercise. I drink 4-5 liters of water daily and take 6-8 hours of sleep.
Karan explains that he used to feel tired most of the time due to being overweight. He says that being more prone to lifestyle disorders is the most difficult part of being overweight. Also losing my father in February 2021 and suffering from facial paralysis was the most difficult time in my life.
In what shape do you see yourself after 10 years? I see myself participating in modeling and bodybuilding competitions across the country. I want to be the fitness ambassador of my country and motivate the youth to stay fit and lead a healthy lifestyle.
Karan believes that you cannot always be motivated, so it is very important to always have a solid reason behind doing things. And I had a strong reason. My weight loss journey It was me vs. me.
Apart from this, I motivated myself by participating in online challenges / transformation challenges organized through FITTR. It really helps me stay on track with my routine. Clicking my own pictures and taking body measurements regularly helps me track my progress.
Karan tells that I wake up early and sleep on time. I follow the diet plan for food. Always carry a 2 liter water bottle with me while traveling outside home/office/gym. While losing weight, I realized that obesity is made up of water + muscle + fat. So the best way to lose it is to reduce fat while preserving muscle with strength training and nutrition.
I know that hard times don’t last, but a strong person always does. My parents have always taught me to fight against all odds. So whenever I face any challenge, I remember all the teachings of my parents and work hard to come out of it. Also I am able to help others in their weight loss journey today, thanks to the entire FITTR team, Jitendra Chokse and my coach Anjali Singh.
