This is the time of opportunities… PM Modi gave this message to the states amidst the boycott by the opposition


New Delhi : New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that making the country a developed nation by 2047 is the ambition of every Indian and states can play a key role in achieving this goal as they are directly connected to the people. Modi said this at the ninth governing council meeting of Niti Aayog.

The Commission quoted Modi as saying on the social media platform ‘X’ that making India a developed nation by 2047 is the ambition of every Indian. States can play an active role in achieving this goal as they are directly connected to the people. he/she said this decade is a decade of technological and geopolitical changes as well as opportunities.

The Prime Minister said that India should take advantage of these opportunities and make its policies conducive to international investment. This is the way forward towards making India a developed country. The meeting focuses on making India a developed nation by 2047. The objective of this meeting is to promote participatory governance and cooperation between the Central and State Governments, strengthen the distribution system and enhance the quality of life for both rural and urban population.

The Governing Council, the apex body of Niti Aayog, comprises chief ministers of all states, lieutenant governors of union territories and several Union ministers. The Prime Minister is the chairman of Niti Aayog. The meeting will also consider the recommendations of the third national conference of chief secretaries held in December last year.
