This is the name of politics… Have the allies of India Alliance started distancing themselves from Rahul Gandhi?

New Delhi: The answer to the question of who will lead the INDIA alliance was not found before the Lok Sabha elections, but half of the answer was found after the results. The answer was also half such that no one was saying it openly but Rahul Gandhi came into the center of discussion. Before the Lok Sabha elections, there was talk of BJP crossing 400, but after the results, it fell short of the majority on its own. The results energized the opposition and Rahul Gandhi came to the center of it. Just as the temperature rises in the month of June, Rahul Gandhi’s graph rises rapidly after the Lok Sabha results. However, as the weather changes by October, something similar is visible with Rahul Gandhi. After the election results of Haryana in October and Maharashtra in November, questions are being raised about Rahul Gandhi in the INDIA alliance itself and many challenges have arisen in front of the INDIA alliance too.

Everything changed as the monsoon session turned into winter session.
While the entire opposition seemed united in the monsoon session after the Lok Sabha election results, as the winter session approached, it seemed as if the warmth of opposition unity had disappeared. After the defeat first in Haryana and then in Maharashtra, the biggest attack on Congress is made by TMC. On behalf of TMC it was said that now the time has come that Mamata Banerjee should lead the India alliance. Not only this, while Congress opened its front on the Adani issue, TMC was seen retreating. Congress did not get any support from TMC at all. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee recently expressed dissatisfaction with the functioning of the India Alliance and also indicated her intention to take charge of it if given the opportunity.

Samajwadi Party is not liking Congress’s stand

While the Adani issue is being raised by the Congress, the Samajwadi Party does not seem to be openly standing with it on this issue. Even in the protest by Congress MPs, SP MPs were not seen. Bitterness was seen between the two in the UP by-election itself, even though nothing was said openly from either party. Now SP did not like Congress’s stand at all on the Sambhal issue. SP did not like Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi’s efforts to maintain control. SP MP Ram Gopal Yadav said that Congress is not raising the Sambhal issue in Parliament and Rahul Gandhi is being careful. Along with TMC and SP, some other allies of India Alliance are also raising questions without naming Congress.

Mamta and Kejriwal on different paths

While TMC is raising questions, Arvind Kejriwal is also seen returning to his/her old path. There was talk of an alliance between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress in the Haryana Assembly elections but the alliance did not materialise. When the results did not come in favor of Congress, questions were raised on Congress. Other parties of the Indian alliance advised Congress that if it had fought with allies, the results would have been better. First, after the crushing defeat of Congress in Haryana and Maharashtra, Arvind Kejriwal’s party had already announced that there will be no alliance in the Delhi Assembly elections and the party will fight alone. While Congress and AAP fought together in the Lok Sabha elections, arrows are being fired at each other in the Assembly elections. Forget about an alliance between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party for the assembly elections, no one even wants to talk about it.

BJP started feeding the opposition on its own pitch
There is discussion in the political circles that Rahul Gandhi wants to do politics according to his/her own in the India alliance. he/she wants the entire opposition to agree with him/her on the Adani issue but this is not happening. SP and TMC anyway do not agree with this politics of Congress. An opposition is visible even within the opposition. BJP would never want the entire opposition to unite on any issue and the same is happening. Besides, the position of Congress and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi has also weakened in the India alliance. When questions are raised by Mamata Banerjee, BJP gets an opportunity to target Rahul Gandhi. Based on Mamata Banerjee’s statements, BJP taunted that no leader in the India alliance has faith in the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.
