In the thrilling final, Pandya defended 16 runs well by bowling sensibly in the last over. he/she took 2 wickets in the last over of the match and deprived South Africa of its first ICC trophy. After becoming the world champion, Pandya started crying on the field itself. he/she remembered the last 6 months that happened to him/her in which he/she was also trolled.
