This Indian film is Barack Obama’s favorite, shares the list of his/her 10 most favorite movies in 2024


Like every year, this time too former US President Barack Obama has shared the list of his/her favorite films. In the last few months, Payal Kapadia’s ‘All We Imagine as Light’ has received a lot of praise internationally. After this, now even the President has called the film the best. This is the only Indian film which has got a place in Obama’s list. he/she shared this list on his/her social media account on Friday. Obama wrote on his/her Instagram handle, ‘Here are some movies that I would recommend watching this year.’ The photo creative he/she posted read, ‘Barack Obama’s favorite films of 2024 – All We Imagine as Light, Conclave, The Piano Lesson, The Promised Land, The Seed of the Sacred Fig, Dune: Part Two, Anora, Sister, Sugarcane, A Complete Unknown.

‘All We Imagine as Light’ received awards

‘All We Imagine as Light’ is creating history on the international stage. The journey began when it won the Grand Prix award at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year. It was the first Indian film in 30 years to be screened at Cannes. The film was also recently nominated for two Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards.

About ‘All We Imagine as Light’

Talking about the film, ‘All We Imagine as Light’ is the story of Prabha, a troubled nurse, who receives a gift from her estranged husband, and Anu (her roommate) who explores intimacy with her boyfriend. Has been. his/her trip to the seaside village helps him/her understand his/her desires and feelings. Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha and Chhaya Kadam are in lead roles in the film.
