This former Indian cricketer came in support of Prithvi Shaw

New DelhiThe last few months have not been good for Indian batsman Prithvi Shaw. he/she was out of Team India and then his/her Ranji team also showed the way out. No team bought him/her in the mega auction of IPL. At present this batsman is facing criticism from all sides. Some are raising questions on his/her fitness and some on his/her behaviour. After walking out of Team India, he/she is continuously trying to make a comeback, but till now he/she has not been successful in it.

Prithvi Shaw was not bought by any team in the IPL 2025 auction, along with this he/she was also not selected in the recent Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. After this, the Mumbai Cricket Association official explained the reason for his/her not being selected in the team and also raised questions on his/her fitness, discipline and attitude. After his/her allegation, former Indian cricketer Jatin Paranjape has defended Shaw on social media.

Responding on social media, he/she said that this could be Shaw’s last season with Mumbai and it seems that MCA does not want to help the right-handed batsman. he/she further wrote that such loose comments from MCA sources are really unfortunate. It seems that Shaw is not interested in helping. This will definitely be his/her last season as a Mumbai player.

At the age of just 18, he/she got a chance to debut for India. Prithvi created a sensation by scoring a Test century against West Indies in the very first match. After this, he/she got a place in the team on the tour of England but due to injury, he/she was out. At the very beginning of his/her career, he/she got embroiled in many controversies and now he/she is struggling to make a place in the Mumbai team, let alone the Indian team.
