In the third day of Bihar vs Madhya Pradesh match, Bihar batsmen took good care of the visiting bowlers. Although four players of Bihar missed their half-centuries, while two batsmen missed their centuries, but they troubled the visiting bowlers a lot. A total of 38 fours and 4 sixes have been hit so far from Bihar. In this, Vipin Saurabh alone hit three skyscraper sixes. One of them had even crossed the stadium.


135 runs needed to avoid follow on

By the end of the third day’s play, Bihar has scored 331 runs for 130.5 wickets in its first innings. Bihar still needs 135 runs to avoid follow-on and has two wickets in hand. Madhya Pradesh has scored 616 runs in 130.2 overs in its first innings. On the third day of the match, Bihar started playing with four wickets and 131 runs ahead of the second day. Vipin Saurabh and Ayush Loharuka batted fiercely. Both the batsmen kept the Madhya Pradesh players quiet. Vipin Saurabh hit a skyscraper six on the third day also. Let us tell you that on the second day also Vipin Saurabh had hit a six across the stadium. Today Vipin was moving towards his/her century, but while playing the ball of Saransh Jain, he/she gave wicket keeper Himanshu Mantri a chance to stump and he/she was out. Vipin Saurabh scored 71 runs in 89 balls with the help of 6 fours and 3 sixes.

There is panic in Madhya Pradesh camp
There was a strong partnership of 96 runs for the fifth wicket between Ayush and Vipin. After Vipin’s dismissal, Sarman Nigrodh gave full support to Ayush Loharuka and both these batsmen created panic in the Madhya Pradesh camp. Both of them kept their feet on the wicket and made a partnership of 86 runs for the sixth wicket. Bihar got the sixth blow when Venkatesh Iyer got Ayush Loharuka, who was moving towards a century, caught by Kumar Karthikeya Singh. Ayush Loharuka played a valuable inning of 76 runs in 213 balls with the help of 11 fours. Sachin Kumar Singh came to support Samaran Nigrodh. The pair seemed to be getting along well, when in 106.2 overs of the match, Samran Nigrodh was out LBW on a low ball from Aryan Pandey. Sarman scored 42 runs in 122 balls with the help of 5 fours.

Bihar got its eighth blow in the form of Sachin Kumar Singh on the fifth ball of the last over of the third day’s play. Sachin Kumar Singh was bowled out by Kumar Karthikeya Singh. Before getting out, Sachin Kumar Singh scored a patient 34 runs with the help of 6 fours in 99 balls. At the end of the third day’s play, Bihar captain Veer Pratap Singh is at the crease after scoring 4 runs and Bihar’s score is 331 runs for 8 wickets.

With four half-centuries and two centuries
From Bihar, Piyush Kumar Singh scored 37 runs, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 5, Babul Kumar scored 47, Saqibul Gani scored 3, Vipin Saurabh scored 71, Ayush Loharuka scored 76, Sarman Nigrodh scored 42 and Sachin Kumar Singh scored 34 runs. For Madhya Pradesh, Aryan Pandey took 2 wickets for 37 runs, Venkatesh Iyer took 1 wicket for 19 runs, Kumar Karthikeya Singh took 2 wickets for 85 runs, Saransh Jain took 3 wickets for 107 runs. Tomorrow the fourth and last day’s match will start as scheduled.
