Alwar. These days the courage of thieves is high in UIT police station area of Alwar Bhiwadi. The miscreants are continuously making off with gold, silver jewelery and valuables worth lakhs of rupees. Thieves have committed theft at two places in the area. Krishna Kumar, owner of house number 1/676 of UIT Sector 1, was suffering from Corona for the last 3 months and was undergoing treatment in a hospital in Gurgaon. The house has been closed for 3 months. Krishna Kumar has two sons, he also lives in Gurgaon.
On Tuesday morning, when his neighbor saw the lock of the house open, he informed Krishna Kumar over the phone and when Krishna Kumar went home and checked the house, all the things in the house were scattered here and there. Godrej’s cupboard along with the gold and silver jewelery and valuables kept in the bed had been stolen. Krishna Kumar has given a written complaint regarding this matter at UIT Phase Third police station. On the other hand, on September 25, in broad daylight, thieves broke into a house in Shamsher Singh Colony under UIT police station and stole an ATM along with gold and silver jewelery worth lakhs of rupees kept in it.
While registering the case at UIT police station, Chandni daughter of Shiv Vihar, resident of Shamsher Singh Colony Santhalka, has said that she had gone to work in her company on the morning of 25th September. When I came home in the evening, I found the lock of the room broken. The thieves stole three gold rings of one tola each, ear rings, mangalsutra, 250 gram silver anklets, 20 gram silver bracelet, cash worth Rs 17 thousand and two mobile phones and ATM kept in the house. When Chandni went to the bank the next day to block her ATM, she got information that Rs 95,000 had been withdrawn from her ATM a day earlier. UIT police station has registered the case and is now busy searching for the thieves on the basis of CCTV footage. There is fear among the people due to the increasing incidents of theft in the city and people are raising questions on the police system of the city.
