New Delhi: Four army personnel including a Captain who was seriously injured in an encounter with heavily armed terrorists in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir were martyred. The soldiers martyred in the encounter have been identified as Captain Brijesh Thapa, Naik D Rajesh, Sepoy Bijendra and Sepoy Ajay. Additional forces have been sent to search and eliminate the terrorists. Terrorist attacks have increased in the recent past. After Kathua, this news from Doda has angered the people. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on this incident.

Asaduddin Owaisi said that Narendra Modi was talking big. he/she was saying that he/she will enter the house and kill. Then what is happening. Owaisi said that this is a complete failure of the government. They are not able to control terrorism. he/she said that what has happened in Doda is very far from the LoC. In such a situation, this is a very dangerous thing.

This attack has come a week after the attack in Kathua in which five soldiers were martyred and many were injured. Officials said that the encounter started after the soldiers of Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint cordon and search operation in Dhari Gote Urbagi of Desa forest area, about 55 km from Doda town, late on Monday evening.

After a brief exchange of fire, the terrorists tried to flee but the brave soldiers led by an officer chased them despite the difficult terrain and dense forest, after which firing again took place in the forest at around 9 pm. Officials said five soldiers were seriously injured in the encounter and four soldiers, including the officer, later succumbed to their injuries.
