Indian Bank has launched a fixed deposit scheme named ‘Ind Super 400 Days’. This new scheme has been opened on 6 March 2023 only. This FD scheme offers 0.05 more interest rate to women. The bank is giving returns at the rate of 7.15 percent on getting FDs to women. At the same time, senior citizen women are getting interest rate up to 7.65 percent and super senior citizens up to 7.90 percent.
At the same time, a special fixed deposit scheme is already available for women in Punjab and Sindh Bank. Its name is- PSB Griha Lakshmi Fixed Deposit Scheme. In this scheme, women can open FD online sitting at home, in which they are getting an interest rate of 6.90 percent. While the bank is giving an interest rate of 7.40 per cent on getting FDs to senior citizen women. This interest is much higher than the interest rate available on savings bank account.
Apart from this, Shriram Finance is giving 0.10 percent higher rate of interest on FDs to women. At the same time, senior citizen women can get more than 0.50 percent return on FD. While they are getting 0.10 percent more interest rate on regular deposits.
