These special trains will run for those carrying Kanwad to Haridwar, facilities will be available


The month of Sawan is starting from 22nd July. During this time, the Kavad fair is also starting in Haridwar. Every year thousands and lakhs of Kanwariyas reach Haridwar. During these days, the trains are full, due to which the devotees have to face problems. But this time full care has been taken of the convenience of the devotees.
Indian Railways is going to run special trains for the devotees going to Kanwar fair. Apart from this, four other trains have been extended till Haridwar. While 14 trains are being given extra halt. This train will run for Haridwar from 29 July to 2 August. It has been announced to operate them from Delhi and UP.

These special trains will run from Delhi

Some trains will operate from Old Delhi. Haridwar-Old Delhi Mela Special 04324- 04325 will be operated from here. This train will depart from Haridwar from 29th July to 2nd August at 3:45 pm and will reach Old Delhi at 8:50 pm. On the return journey, from 29th July to 2nd August, it will depart from Old Delhi at 10 pm and reach Haridwar at 4:25 am. On the way, this train will stop at Jwalapuri, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Meerut and Ghaziabad.

This special train will start from Rishikesh from 29th July to 2nd August. To catch this train, you will have to reach Haridwar station before 8 pm. The train will leave from here at 8.35 pm and will reach Old Delhi at 4:15 am the next day. On the return journey, from 29th July to 2nd August, it will leave from Old Delhi at 4:45 am and reach Rishikesh at 11 am. Raiwala, Motichur, Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Shamli and Delhi Shahdara will be its stops.

Old Delhi- Shamli special train (04465/04466) will now go till Haridwar. From 21st July to 3rd August, this train will depart from Old Delhi at 8 pm every day and reach Haridwar at 1-55 pm. On return, from 22nd July to 4th August, it will depart from Haridwar at 3 am and reach Delhi at 9:25 am. After Shamli, its stops will be Thana Bhawan, Rampur Maniharan, Tapri, Roorkee and Jwalapuri.

This train will start from Old Delhi on 22nd July and will run till 3rd August. It will depart from Delhi at 4 pm and reach Haridwar at 10:50 pm. On return, this train will depart from Haridwar at 2 am from 23rd July to 4th August and will reach Old Delhi at 8:45 am. Between Saharanpur and Haridwar, this special train will stop only at Roorkee and Jwalapur.

Extra coaches will be added in Haridwar-Old Delhi Express (14306/14305), Haridwar-Old Delhi Express (14304/14303) and Old Delhi-Saharanpur Special (04599/04600) trains. It has also been decided to keep three empty racks in 24 trains.

Apart from these, Link Express (14113-14), Bareilly-Delhi Special (04303-04), Ujjaini (14309-10), Dehradun-Indore (14317-18), Okha Express (19565-66), Kochuveli Express (22659-60), Hemkund (14610-09) trains will also continue to run in the month of Sawan.
