Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Garden, also known as Mysore Zoo, is one of the best zoological gardens in India. Maharaja Chamaraja Wodeyar established this zoo for the royals in 1892. Further, after the attainment of independence, it was handed over to the Department of Horticulture and Horticulture of the State Government.
