There will be a T20 match between India and Pakistan again, there will be a clash in the Women’s Asia Cup

New Delhi. After the clash between India and Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup, now fans are going to see a match between the two teams again. This time the match will be between women’s teams and not men’s teams. The Indian women’s team will start its campaign against arch-rival Pakistan on July 19 in the Women’s T20 Asia Cup cricket tournament to be held in Dambulla, Sri Lanka.

This tournament will be played from 19 to 28 July in which eight teams from the continent will participate. Unlike last time, this year the eight teams have been divided into two groups. India, Pakistan, UAE and Nepal have got a place in Group A while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand and Malaysia are in Group B.

According to the updated schedule released by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), after playing against Pakistan, India will face UAE on July 21 and Nepal on July 23. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals which will be played on July 26. The final will be held on July 28. Once again, all the match officials in the tournament will be women.

India is the most successful team in the Women’s Asia Cup. It was started in the year 2004 in ODI format but since the year 2012 this tournament is being played in T20 format. India won it 6 times in a row from 2004 to 2016. In 2018, Bangladesh captured it. Last time the Indian women’s team won it and won the seventh title.
