In the polygraph test, no one other than Sanjay is there
According to sources, the polygraph test conducted on RG Kar’s former principal Sandip Ghose and five others has also not given the CBI any clues about the role of any other person. Roy’s polygraph test focused on finding out if anyone else had accompanied him/her to the seminar hall of RG Kar’s Chest Department on the night the crime took place, CNN-News18 reported.

Roy was captured on CCTV cameras entering RG Kar alone at 4.03 am on August 9. An official involved in the investigation said the answers to a polygraph test are usually yes or no. Experts analyse body parameters to find out if a person is lying. The forensic team questioned Roy if anyone else was in collusion with him/her. The answers were negative. However, polygraphs cannot be accepted as evidence, officials said. The decision to test Roy was taken to look for any possible clues that he/she may not have provided to the police or the CBI during sustained questioning.
