There was a systematic and organized corruption in NEET, Rahul Gandhi again targeted the Modi government

New Delhi: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has raised questions about the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi said that the arrests made in Bihar, Gujarat and Haryana clearly show that there has been organised corruption in the exam in a planned manner. he/she alleged that BJP-ruled states have become the epicentre of paper leak.

PM’s silence

Narendra Modi, as usual, is maintaining silence on the tampering with the future of more than 24 lakh students in NEET. In our letter of judgment, we had guaranteed to secure the future of the youth by making a strict law against paper leak. Now, while fulfilling the responsibility of the opposition, we will strongly raise the voice of the youth of the country from the streets to the Parliament.

There is bound to be uproar on the issue of ‘rigging’ in NEET exam in the upcoming session of Parliament! Congress has given indications

Pressure on the government

he/she said that we are committed to pressurizing the government and making strict policies. Congress has demanded an independent forensic investigation into NEET. Giving an example, Congress said that the number of candidates who scored 600 marks in NEET this year is 80,468. Whereas, there are only 55,000 seats in government medical colleges, in such a situation how can these students get admission in government colleges.

Demand for investigation under the supervision of Supreme Court

Congress says that the Modi government and the Education Minister should order an independent forensic investigation under the supervision of the Supreme Court in the NEET scam. PM Modi should also give his/her statement on this subject. Congress has said that there were many students who had to struggle to pass 12th. But, the same students have scored excellent marks in NEET.

Hence, 12th board marks should be correlated with NEET marks. If the data shows that thousands of people have scored low marks in board exams and very high marks in NEET, then the allegations of paper leak are true.
