Big bids are also being placed on many such names, which are not able to make headlines even after performing well. One such name was Anshul Kamboj. Recently, there was a good fight between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings for this pacer who took 10 wickets in an innings of Ranji Trophy. The last bid on Anshul Kamboj, who had a base price of Rs 30 lakh, was Rs 3.40 crore by Chennai Super Kings.

Anshul Kamboj was in the Mumbai Indians team last season. he/she caught the attention of cricket fans by performing well in some matches. But it was not such a good performance that Mumbai Indians would have retained him/her. However, Anshul Kamboj was definitely included in Mumbai Indians’ 2025 plan. For this reason Mumbai Indians bid for him/her for a long time. Chennai Super Kings was also busy in signing Anshul Kamboj. The bidding race between the two ended at Rs 3.40 crore.

23 year old Anshul Kamboj plays for Haryana in domestic cricket. he/she has played 19 first-class matches and 15 List A matches. Anshul had taken 10 wickets in an innings in the Ranji match against Kerala this month. Anshul Kamboj played 3 matches for Mumbai Indians last season.

If the Indian batsmen and all-rounders were dominant on the first day of the IPL auction, the pacers won on the second day. Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday bid Rs 10.75 crore for Bhuvneshwar Kumar. This was the biggest bid on the second day. Deepak Chahar was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 9.25 crore. Mukesh Kumar and Akash Deep also got bids worth Rs 8 crore each.
