Vice captain Jasprit Bumrah can be seen captaining the team in the test match.

New Zealand registered a spectacular series win by defeating India 0-3. After this crushing defeat, the team captained by Rohit Sharma got a tough lesson. After the embarrassing defeat at home, Team India will face a tough challenge from Australia. In the last 10 years, India has dominated Australia and won four series. The good thing is that two of them live in Australia. Now the Indian team has a chance to complete a hat-trick of series wins in Australia, but it will not be so easy.

Virat Kohli’s form has been a matter of concern. But his/her record in Australia is good. It is expected that Kohli will bat at number four and will be successful in regaining his/her form.

Sarfaraz Khan may be out
KL Rahul can replace Sarfaraz Khan in the playing eleven against New Zealand. Due to his/her experience in Australia, it is considered certain that he/she will be given a place in the final eleven. Wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant, who has shown explosive form, is being considered important for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. he/she played an important role in India’s victory in 2020-21. Returning after the accident, Pant has scored one century, 99 runs and two half-centuries in five Tests.

All-rounder Sundar’s place confirmed
Washington Sundar had performed brilliantly in the two tests played against New Zealand. he/she can make a place in the XI along with Ravindra Jadeja. Jasprit Bumrah will lead the fast bowling attack and he/she will be accompanied by Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep. Siraj has not been in good form recently, but his/her experience of playing in Australia can get him/her a place in the XI.
