There is still a fight going on over the Udarpur City Palace built in 1559, even Pataudi Palace will be in awe after seeing the carvings.

A few days ago, an atmosphere of tension was seen in Udaipur city due to a dispute between the descendants of Maharana Prataav. During this time, Udaipur City Palace, known for its beauty, came into discussion. Actually, after the death of Mahendra Singh Mewar, his/her son Vishwaraj Singh Mewar was made the 77th successor. But after the coronation, as per the tradition of the royal family, when Vishvaraj Singh went to Udarpur City Palace to visit Dhuni Mata, his/her cousin Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar closed the doors of the palace. However, after 4 days of fighting the doors were opened.

Let us tell you here that Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar’s father and Vishvaraj Singh’s uncle Arvind Singh believe that the Mewar royal family is run through a trust whose responsibility has been given to them. The father had ousted his/her elder son Mahendra Singh and his/her family from the throne. Actually Mahendra Singh had filed a case against his/her father Bhagwant Singh Mewar. Because Bhagwant Singh was selling or giving on lease the ancestral properties. Therefore, Udraypur City Palace is owned by Arvind Singh Mewar and his/her son Lakshyaraj Singh, about whose workmanship and carvings we are going to tell you. (Photo Courtesy: presswire18 Times)
