There is no need for elections in some parts of the country…why is Vice President Dhankhar saying this, you will be shocked to know the reason

New Delhi : India is the world’s largest democracy, but Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar is calling elections and democracy meaningless in certain areas of the country. They are saying that elections should not be held in those areas because it makes no sense. The Vice President is upset and worried about these things. There is a warning regarding the challenge. Concern about dramatic changes in demography. There is irritation about allowing demographic change to happen due to political interests. There is a warning about the challenge. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar said in a conference of Chartered Accountants in Jaipur on Tuesday that the demographic change in some areas of the country has become so much that they have become ‘political forts’. There, elections and democracy have no meaning because the results are already decided.

The Vice President said that demographic change is becoming a challenge in the world. he/she further said, ‘If this very worrying challenge is not dealt with systematically, it will become an existential challenge. This has happened in the world. I do not need to take the names of those countries which have lost 100% of their identity due to this demographic disorder, demographic earthquake.

Jagdeep Dhankhar said, ‘Demographic disorder has no less serious consequences than a nuclear bomb.’

Without naming countries, he/she said there are some developed countries which are ‘feeling the heat of it’. Dhankhar said, ‘Look at our culture, our inclusivity and unity in diversity are aspects of a positive social order. Very soothing. We welcome everyone with open arms and what’s up? It is being shaken and seriously compromised by these demographic dislocations, malicious divisions based on caste and so on.’

If this very worrying challenge is not dealt with systematically, it will become an existential challenge. This has happened in the world. I do not need to take names of countries which have lost 100% of their identity due to this demographic disorder, demographic earthquake.

Without mentioning any particular state or region, the Vice President said, ‘When elections come in some areas, demographic chaos is becoming a bastion of political vulnerability in democracy. We have seen this change in the country. The demographic change is so great that the area becomes a political stronghold. Democracy has no meaning left, elections have no meaning left. Who will be elected becomes a foregone conclusion and unfortunately these areas are increasing in our country.

Dhankhar also cautioned against narratives and efforts targeting social cohesion in the country. he/she said, ‘Therefore, we all have to work with passion and in missionary mode to build a united society that is nationalistically minded and not plagued by factions of caste, creed, colour, culture, faith and cuisine…. ‘

The Vice President said, ‘We, being the majority, are all-inclusive, we, being the majority, are tolerant, we, being the majority, create a happy ecosystem. On the other hand, the writing on the wall is of a majority that is cruel, ruthless and careless in its work. Who believes in trampling all values.
