New Delhi : The Congress accused the central government of ruining the future of the youth over the alleged rigging in the ‘National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Graduate’ (NEET-UG), 2024 conducted for admission to medical courses. The party said that this issue will be raised loudly during the Parliament session starting from June 24. The main opposition said that the Congress wants a CBI inquiry in this matter, but if the government is not ready for it, then the investigation should be done under the supervision of the Supreme Court. Congress is constantly demanding this in this matter. Congress has also demanded that the Director General of NT be removed from his/her post.

Question on the role of NTA, NCERT

CBI investigation requested

The Congress MP said that the Congress wants a CBI inquiry in this case. If the government is not ready for a CBI inquiry, then we demand an inquiry under the supervision of the Supreme Court… The head of the NTA should be removed. Gogoi claimed, “We have heard different recordings of how lakhs of rupees are being demanded. Children are getting the same marks in the same center. The government’s attitude on this matter has been weak and it is running away from this issue. But it is the duty of the opposition to raise the issues of the country and we will raise the voice of our 24 lakh students loudly inside the House.”
