When the announcement was made, the train running between Patna-New Delhi was no less than a gift for the people of Bihar. Departing from Rajendra Nagar station at 7:25 am, it stops at Patna Junction at 7:35, Ara at 8:20, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction at 10:20, Mirzapur at 11:21 and reaches Kanpur at 2:25 am the next morning. It then reaches Rajdhani at 7.55 am. It takes 12 hours 30 minutes during this journey.
