New Delhi. The great event of T20 World Cup 2024 is now over. The Indian team is preparing to return home with the trophy. The ICC trophy is coming to India after 13 years. After a wait of 17 years, India has won the T20 World Cup title. In such a situation, now is the time to look at the record book. Many new records have been made during this World Cup. The world has now got a new most economical bowler in the World Cup of the shortest format of the game. This world champion bowler is from the Indian team that defeated South Africa. Yes, we are talking about Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah has become the bowler who has given runs at the lowest economy in any one World Cup.

Jasprit Bumrah Jassi played a total of eight matches in this T20 World Cup. During this, he/she took 15 wickets. Jassi bowled about 30 overs in the World Cup and conceded 178 runs. his/her economy rate was 4.17 during the entire tournament. In the semi-finals, he/she took three wickets for just seven runs against England, which was his/her best performance of the tournament.

Vanindu Hasaranga: Before Jasprit Bumrah, Sri Lanka’s Vanindu Hasaranga was at number-1 in the category of most economical bowler in the history of T20 World Cup. During the T20 World Cup 2021, Hasaranga gave runs at an economy of 5.21. This means that he/she gave an average of 5 runs in every over of that World Cup. Then he/she took 16 wickets in eight matches.

Shahid Afridi: Now Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi has slipped to the third position in this list. During this World Cup played in England, Afridi conceded runs at an economy rate of 5.32. he/she also took 13 wickets.

Daniel Vettori: New Zealand’s Daniel Vettori is also not far behind Afridi in this matter. his/her economy rate has been 5.33 during one edition of the T20 World Cup. he/she took 11 wickets in the T20 World Cup 2007 played in South Africa.
