New Zealand’s chief fast bowler Lockie Ferguson is suspected to play in the Champions Trophy due to a hamstring injury in which the team is to play the first match against Pakistan in this ODI tournament. he/she suffered a hamstring injury during the International League T20 match at the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Because of which he/she is troubled by injury.

New Zealand will play its first group A match in the Champions Trophy against Pakistan at the National Stadium in Karachi on 19 February. Coach Gary Stead confirmed that this prominent bowler had scanned to know the seriousness of the injury.
