Now let’s talk about Andhra Pradesh. Andhra did not have a permanent capital from 2014 to 12 June 2024. There was a battle going on in the courts over Amaravati and Visakhapatnam to make the capital of Andhra Pradesh. But with the formation of a new government in Andhra Pradesh on June 12, Amaravati was made the new capital of Andhra Pradesh. However, the biggest problem of the division is that even after ten years of division, many issues like division of assets between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are unresolved.

Before Amaravati becomes the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, there is a dispute over Visakhapatnam and Amaravati. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that if he/she remains in power, Visakhapatnam will be the administrative capital. While Amaravati will be the seat of the legislature. Apart from this, Kurnool will be the judicial capital. Andhra Pradesh stopped using Hyderabad as the capital soon after the division in 2014 and kept only a few buildings in the city.
