If you have spots on your face, pimples keep coming up frequently, your glow keeps fading and dirt starts accumulating in the skin pores, then these are signs of ageing. However, ageing is an internal process of the body.

But sometimes due to increasing pollution, dust, UV rays etc., our face starts showing signs of aging before time, which we call premature aging. In Ayurveda too, aging occurs due to its Vata dosha, for which there are many remedies in Ayurveda and Dr Nikhita is telling those remedies.

Doctors suggest not to wash your face with soap, because doing so removes oil from your face and our skin starts looking more dull and the glow of the face reduces. Instead, you can use Ubtan. For which you may need these things-

  • Powdered lentils – 2 teaspoons
  • Dried orange powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Sandalwood – 1 teaspoon
  • Rose water – as needed

To prepare this recipe, you have to mix all the four ingredients well in a bowl. You can apply it on the face and the rest of the body and get a solution to every problem from acne to aging.

Massage is said to be very important in Ayurveda because it keeps your body and skin soft and glowing. You must use it and if you are doing massage then use Ayurvedic things i.e. saffron and sandalwood. This can help in bringing a glow on your face and if you want to use oil then you can use sesame oil.

You can use bronze for face massage as it pulls out excess bile from the body and increases blood circulation on your skin, thus performing firming and toning function. Also, you can use Ayurvedic oil face wash before sleeping.
