The rifle used by the US Army is now with the terrorists, CCTV footage of Ganderbal attack surfaced

New Delhi: In Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, on the evening of 20 October, terrorists attacked workers engaged in tunnel construction with NATO assault rifle M-4. This very advanced rifle is used by the American Army. Experts believe that 970 bullets can be fired in a minute and even after this the rifle does not get hot. The security forces engaged in the investigation have also found a footage from the CCTV cameras installed at the spot, in which two terrorists are seen. However, the number of terrorists who carried out the attack is said to be 2 to 3. Many places are being raided in search of terrorists captured on camera.

Entered the workers’ camp with the intention of causing bloodshed.

Security agencies say that both the terrorists had entered the labor camp with the intention of causing large-scale bloodshed. On reaching inside, seeing the people, they started open firing. 7 people were killed and many were injured in the incident. Looking at the way the terrorists carried out this attack, it is also suspected that both or one of them may have some connection with the Reasi attack. Similarly, on June 9 this year, terrorists had opened fire on a bus carrying pilgrims in Reasi, Jammu. Almost the same pattern was adopted by the terrorists in this attack also. The terrorists involved in the Reasi attack are also roaming freely.

Did not try to hide face, hid rifle with shawl

Regarding the Ganderbal attack, agencies say that at present information is being received only about two terrorists. Neither of them had made any attempt to cover their faces. That is, without hiding his/her identity, he/she was trying to send a message that if you have the courage, then catch us and show it. Both of them were wearing shawls. The shawl was probably taken to hide the rifle. The age of both the terrorists seems to be between 22 to 30 years. Both of them had pittu bags on their waist. Perhaps that bag was filled with pills and food items. After carrying out the attack, both of them fled from the spot.

More than 100 people were interrogated

The investigation of the case is in the hands of Jammu and Kashmir Police. But, in the coming time, this case is said to be transferred to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Police, Army, CRPF and other forces are conducting search operations to nab the absconding terrorists and those helping them at the local level. More than 100 people have been interrogated so far. The agencies suspect that the absconding terrorists were helped at the local level. Otherwise the attack would not have been possible with such precision and timing. It is suspected that the terrorists may have worked as laborers here a few days ago or one of their associates may be involved in other groups of laborers or construction sites.

Knew where laborers would be found

The terrorists knew very well that where would the laborers be found after working the whole day? The same spot was targeted by the terrorists. However, Jammu and Kashmir Police sources say that on interrogating the local people, they told that initially it seemed that firecrackers were being burnt. Because the girl’s wedding was on Monday near the spot. At the time of the attack, there was dancing going on drums in the house. But within a few minutes it became clear that it was an attack. One thing that is also coming to light during the attack is that the lights here were switched off. Now the lights were switched off either by the terrorists or by the workers or by the electricity department itself. This is also being investigated.
