The public also supported the opposition’s ED and CBI bet, the 2024 result gave a big blow to BJP

New Delhi: The counting of votes so far for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 is bringing out very surprising results. BJP, which is touching the figure of 400 in the exit poll results, is currently lagging far behind. BJP has suffered a setback in many states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. In the initial counting of votes, BJP candidates are lagging behind here. In Uttar Pradesh, which has 80 Lok Sabha seats, the alliance of Congress and Samajwadi Party is giving a tough fight to the saffron party. If we look at the results so far, here NDA and opposition alliance India are leading on almost equal seats. After the setback to BJP in the country’s largest state Uttar Pradesh, it is believed that the public has given its support to the bet of the opposition, in which the action of ED and CBI was made an issue. Just before the Lok Sabha elections, there was tremendous protest against the action taken against the leaders of Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Trinamool Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal. The opposition had said in one voice that the voice of opposition leaders is being suppressed through central agencies at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the election campaign, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi raised this issue in almost every election rally. If the current lead of the opposition turns into the final results, then it will be a matter of real concern for the BJP.

Who is ahead and who is behind in the counting of votes so far?
