If we go for a walk, then the responsibility of cleanliness there is not only for the local people, if they have cleaned a city for us, then it is our responsibility to keep that place clean after going there. But the negligence of many people makes the tourist place garbage. While people make videos against garbage spreaders, a person has expressed his/her anger after seeing the garbage heap in Rishikesh.

Nowadays corporate offsome trips have also started, in such a situation, ignoring their responsibility, they spread garbage here and there. People coming here are spreading garbage on the banks of the river Ganges and putting bottles of liquor. Do you know what post on social media. (Photo Credit: Himadrifoundation@Insta)

The river that quenches the thirst of 40 crore Indians every day… and every day some people of Rishikesh have to clean tons of waste and liquor bottles.” “After camping and rafting in Rishikesh, it has become very common to throw liquor bottles in the mother Ganga. Most of these people are educated, work in big multinational companies. They come here in the name of corporate offsomes and go away in the Ganges.”

Siddharth Dey requested people that if they could not respect the environment, then it would be better not to come to Rishikesh. Rather, they should not go anywhere and sit at home. Online people described this view as a heartbreaking. One person said that “the most illiterate” people came out of the same people who work in big companies. Let me tell you, despite all the efforts of the government and the local people, Ganga still remains one of the most polluted rivers in the world.
