New Delhi. November 27 was not good for Mohammed Shami, who was trying to make a comeback in the Indian team after injury. Shami played for Bengal in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on this day, in which his/her balls were beaten a lot. Mohammed Shami gave 46 runs in his/her spell of 4 overs against the novice team of Mizoram and could not take any wicket. However, Bengal managed to register its victory. In another match, Mumbai defeated Maharashtra by 5 wickets.

The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 tournament was contested between Bengal and Mizoram on Wednesday. Batting first in this match, Mizoram scored 157 runs for 4 wickets. On his/her behalf, Mohit Jangra played an inning of 80 runs. Agni Chopra scored 13 runs. From Bengal side, Kanishka Seth, Sayan Ghosh and Karan Lal gave one serious blow each.

Chasing the target of 158 runs, the Bengal team did not face much trouble in registering victory. Opener Abhishek Porel played an excellent inning of 81 runs in 45 balls. he/she also got good support from fellow opener Karan Lal. he/she scored 67 runs. Abhishek and Karan made a partnership of 131 runs in 12.4 overs for the first wicket. After the dismissal of these two, Habib Gandhi and Ritwik Roy Choudhary took the team beyond the target in the 16th over.

Talking about Mohammed Shami, every Indian cricketer wants to see him/her play in the Australia tour. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 tournament itself, Mumbai defeated Maharashtra by 5 wickets. In this match, Mumbai captain Shreyas Iyer played an inning of 71 runs in 39 balls. Ajinkya Rahane scored 52 runs in 34 balls. Prithvi Shaw, who remained unsold in IPL, could not even open his/her account. In this match, Maharashtra, batting first, scored 171 runs for 9 wickets. In response, Mumbai scored 172 runs after losing 5 wickets in 17.1 overs.
