New Delhi. New Delhi. The eliminator match of IPL 2024 is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan Royals have won the toss of the eliminator match. RCB’s start was nothing special. They lost 5 wickets within 15 overs. Meanwhile, Dinesh Karthik’s review became a topic of discussion. Karthik was given not out by the third umpire. After which the fans are holding umpire’s class.

Actually, the third umpire who gave not out to Dinesh Karthik is Anil Chaudhary. Karthik came to bat at number 7 for RCB. On the third ball of Avesh Khan’s 15th over, the ball hit Karthik’s pad. After this Avesh appealed for out. The ground umpire gave out. But Karthik looked confident and took the review. When the review was taken, from the side angle it seemed as if the ball was hitting the pad directly. But while watching from ultra edge, it seemed that the ball had touched the bat. But it was not so.

The ball did not touch the bat but the bat touched the pad. Even while watching in Ultra Edge, it seemed that the ball had first touched the bat and not the pad. But actually the bat was touching the pad and the ball was hitting the pad directly. But here umpire Anil Chaudhary got confused and gave Karthik not out. After this the fans started venting their anger on third umpire Anil Chaudhary.

Who is Anil Chaudhary?
Anil Chaudhary is an Indian cricket umpire. he/she was born on 12 March 1965. On 10 October 2013, he/she umpired in his/her first T20 match in the match between India and Australia. Since then he/she covered many matches. Now he/she is playing the role of third umpire in IPL.
