The link with Soros is wrong… PM’s advisor rejected Congress’s allegations

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s economic advisor Shamika Ravi has hit back at Congress. Congress had alleged that Ravi had received money from George Soros’s Open Society Foundation. Ravi has called this allegation completely wrong. This matter came to light on social media platform X. Congress leader Pawan Kheda had accused Shamika Ravi. Ravi has also talked about filing a defamation case. Both BJP and Congress are involved in this dispute. BJP says that Congress is trying to destabilize India in collaboration with Soros.What did Shamika Ravi say on her allegations?
Shamika Ravi gave her clarification on X. he/she told that in 2006-07, Open Society had given funds to the Indian School of Business (ISB). This fund was for work on financial inclusion. Ravi was an assistant professor in ISB at that time. She used to teach and research on this subject. he/she clarified that no faculty member receives any money directly. Ravi says that she joined EAC-PM after 18 years. he/she is proud of his/her work, country and the Prime Minister. he/she also said that in 2020, George Soros had expressed anti-India intentions. On Ravi’s post, a user advised him/her to file a defamation case against Pawan Kheda. On this Ravi said that yes it is a case of defamation. Pawan Kheda had accused X that Prime Minister’s advisor and government secretary Shamika Ravi has received grants from the Soros-backed Open Society Foundation.

BJP-Congress face to face on Soros
Congress raised questions on BJP on Tuesday. Congress asked that if George Soros is involved in anti-India activities, why did the government not shut down his/her businesses or the funds supported by him/her? The reaction came after BJP alleged that top Congress members were in collusion with Soros and entities supported by him/her to destabilize the country.
