The Indian Scholar’s visa was canceled by the US State Ministry on 5 March. The ministry later confirmed that Ranjani downed himself on 11 March using the CBP Home app. Last year, there were demonstrations against Israel’s action at Gaza Patti at Columbia University. Ranjani also allegedly participated in it. The US had expressed security concern about the protesting students and now their student visa is being canceled. After this, the students themselves are leaving the US.

Apart from ‘Fulbright-Nehru Fellowship’, he/she also received INLAKS Scholarship, through which he/she took admission in the Graduate School of Design of Harvard University. From here he/she earned a Masters in design degree. After this, Ranjani also did M.Phil in ‘Urban Planning’ at Columbia University. She has also been an Assistant Professor of Urban Planning at New York University Wagner for some time. It shows that Ranjani has been very promising in studies since the beginning.
