This is a system that has an 81 mm cannon. This cannon is on a particular vehicle. This vehicle is called ALSV i.e. Armard Light Specialist Vehicle. In India it is known as ‘Armado’. With this, artillery can be transported from one place to another quickly and attacked more rapidly.

What are the special benefits of VMIMS?

The first advantage is to reach it from one place to another. Due to being on the ALSV, it can also easily walk on difficult paths. This is very important to respond rapidly in any operation. Second, it can be deployed very quickly. Alakran-L mortar system is automatic, so firing can be started by setting up it quickly. Third, this increases the firepower. The enemy’s bases can be easily targeted by 81 mm mortar.
