The Great Indian Kapil Show: Rajkumar Rao was duped of 10 thousand rupees in the name of making him/her an actor, the money was wasted

In the latest episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor came to promote their latest film ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’. This is their second film together and the two opened up about each other and shared interesting facts. During the conversation, Rajkummar Rao revealed that he/she was duped of Rs 10,000 with the promise of a role even before he/she started his/her career. Janhvi also revealed what her mother, the late Sridevi, wanted to see him/her become. Let’s tell you the full story. Kapil Sharma asked Rajkummar Rao to tell about the incident when he/she was duped of money with the promise of a role. Rajkummar was in class 11 at that time. he/she said, ‘It happened in Delhi. I used to cycle from Gurgaon to Delhi. I saw a newspaper cutting about a Zee TV show. I know the difference between TV and films, I just knew that I wanted to act. I went to the guy’s office, it was a setup and he/she had pictures with famous actors. I thought he/she knew everyone.’

Rajkumar Rao was cheated

Upon reaching there, Rajkummar Rao was given a proper photoshoot for which the man charged him/her Rs 10,000. his/her mother had lent him/her the money and he/she also got a call from the man informing him/her that he/she had been selected. The actor was on cloud nine. However, when he/she went there after 3 days, he/she saw that the office was closed and on asking people, he/she came to know that the man had run away with his/her money.

Sridevi did not want Janhvi Kapoor to become an actress

At the same time, Kapil Sharma asked Janhvi Kapoor if she was always clear about choosing acting as a profession. On this, the actress made a shocking revelation. She said, ‘My mother tried for many years to keep me away from this direction. When I used to dress up or do makeup, she used to tell me, ‘Do you know what my dream is? That you become a doctor one day.’

However, Janhvi was determined to become an actress since childhood. She used to tell her mother that she would play the role of a doctor in at least one film to fulfill her dream.
