Meanwhile, Saif told why he/she did not become a cricketer like father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. While Saif Ali Khan’s father was a well-known cricketer, mother Sharmila Tagore is a famous actress. When asked about making cricket a career, Saif said, ‘I have Amma Sharmila Tagore’s genes in me.’ Saif said that he/she had chosen the line of acting as per his/her wish and choice.

Saif said, ‘I got acting from the Tagore family. I did not have the focus required for cricket. I was always interested in acting.
