The government will not back down in the paper leak case, made this plan to answer the opposition in Parliament

New Delhi: The Narendra Modi Government 3.0 faces a battle-ready and refreshed Opposition at the start of the first session of the new Lok Sabha this week. The first day of the new session on Monday will mainly see the swearing-in of newly elected MPs, but the real action begins on Wednesday – the election of the Lok Sabha Speaker and then the confrontation over the postponement and cancellation of entrance exams due to paper leaks and other alleged irregularities.

The opposition made a strategy to surround the government

Whether it was the protests over the conduct of NEET-UG 2024 or the cancellation of UGC-NET 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has always been the centre of ire, forcing the government to replace its head. The last-minute postponement of the NEET-PG exam has only intensified protests by medical aspirants, with the opposition also devising a strategy to corner the government in Parliament.

The government is also ready to answer

According to media reports, government sources have indicated that all the facts related to this matter will be placed before the people of the country. An official said that we are ready to answer all the questions and place all the facts before the people. We have nothing to hide. he/she said that whether there is a need to raise the issue of NEET and NET in Parliament or not, it will depend on the permission and decision of the Speaker.

Rahul Gandhi promises to raise the voice of students

The paper leak case has become very serious. This can be gauged from the fact that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan cancelled his/her visit to Delhi University to attend the event organized on International Yoga Day on June 21. On the other hand, to capitalize on the anger of the students and give a glimpse of the events taking place in Parliament, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has released a video message in which he/she has promised the students to fight for them ‘from the road to the Parliament’.

Other opposition parties are also making strategies

Apart from the Congress, other opposition parties have also raised the issue of irregularities in the examination. The CPI(M) has demanded the dismissal of Dharmendra Pradhan. At the same time, NCP leader Sharad Pawar called the last-minute postponement of NEET-PG 2024 a ‘failure’ of the central government. DMK leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin called it a ‘scam’. Shiv Sena, SP and AAP also held a meeting to formulate a strategy on this issue.

The government can also discuss it in the house

On the other hand, BJP is making a strategy to face the opposition in Lok Sabha. The government is ready to discuss the issue of irregularities in examinations in the House. Along with this, the government can also target the opposition. A senior MP said, ‘The central government does not want to appear insensitive at any point. We understand that this is an issue related to the future of the youth. After the election of the Speaker and the President’s address, when the discussion begins, we will talk about the issue without running away.’ he/she said that the strategy will be decided in the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting. The MP said that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan can address the House. he/she will repeat what he/she had said earlier that the purity of examinations is being compromised.

The government has already given indications
The government has taken many big steps in this case. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had talked about a CBI investigation in a press conference. Apart from this, the government also changed the Director General of NTA. CBI is investigating rapidly. Many arrests have also been made in Bihar and Gujarat. This shows that the government is ready for accountability on the issue of students’ future. An MP said that if needed, the government will give a better answer to the opposition in the House. he/she said that BJP will not hesitate to attack the opposition. The name of the PA of former Bihar CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has already come up in the paper leak issue. Many leaders of Bihar BJP also targeted Tejashwi. In such a situation, the government can again attack the opposition fiercely.
