Announcements for girl students in Maharashtra Budget 2024: The Maharashtra government has decided to waive the academic fees for women wishing to pursue medical and engineering courses in state colleges. However, this is applicable for those whose family’s annual income is less than Rs 8 lakh. The scheme is expected to benefit over 20 lakh girl students in the state.

In fact, recently the Maharashtra government has presented its budget, in which many announcements have been made for women, including announcements like giving an amount of Rs 1500 per month and 3 gas cylinders. Patil said universities should try to ensure that more and more girls take admission in higher education courses in various fields and urged vice-chancellors to run special campaigns in support of this, highlighting the importance of timely declaration of results by universities.

Meanwhile, around 200 candidates and parents had lodged objections regarding the MHT CET 2024 question papers and answer key at the Maharashtra CET Cell, Mumbai office. Following this, MHT CET Commissioner Dilip Sardesai said that students and their parents should not believe the rumours as all the objections raised have been resolved.

he/she said that if the candidates or their parents had any objections regarding the questions or answers, the CET Cell provided them with an online facility to register their objections.
