Why is Alto expensive in Pakistan?
There is a big difference between the currency of India and Pakistan. Currently, 261.87 Pakistani rupees is equal to 1 US dollar, while 82.76 Indian rupees is equal to 1 US dollar. The currency of India is more than 3 times stronger than the currency of Pakistan, while the price of Alto is 5 times. Still, Rs 21 lakh is too much. In such a situation, it is difficult for a middle class Pakistani to buy an Alto car, as well as the well-off rich are not able to buy Alto.

38 lakh Alto sold in India
