The dream of going to Australia will come true! Government is giving two years visa to Indian students, apply in this scheme

Australia Met’s plan for Indians: Australia is considered one of the best countries in the world. There are immense job opportunities here, due to which thousands of Indians go here every year to work. A special scheme is also run in Australia for Indian students, through which they can do jobs in the country. Australia has launched ‘Mobility Arrangement for Talented Early-Professionals Scheme’ (MATES), through which one can get a job in the country for two years.
Under the MATES scheme, students studying from top universities in India and professionals in the early stages of their career can register for a temporary work visa from December 2024. Under this scheme, they are allowed to live and work in the country for two years. During this period, they can come to Australia or leave from here as many times as they want. In simple language, as long as your visa is valid, you get the option of multiple entry.

Students studying which subjects will get benefit?

Under the MATES scheme of the Australian Government, if someone has studied Renewable Energy, Mining, Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Financial Technology or Agricultural Technology, then he/she will be considered eligible. Generally, most of the jobs in Australia are related to these fields, due to which most of the vacancies arise for jobs related to this field. If you have also studied these subjects then prepare to go to Australia.

How to apply?

Under the MATES scheme, you will have to apply for a visa through a pre-application ballot, which can open any time in the month of December. However, registration is mandatory before applying for a visa. The ballot registration fee is 25 Australian dollars.

To be eligible for the MATES ballot, you must be between 18 and 30 years of age. If you are selected in the ballot, you will be required to meet additional criteria for grant of a Subclass 403 MATES stream visa.
