The teaser of Kareena Kapoor’s crime-thriller film ‘The Buckingham Murders’ has been released on Tuesday, 20 August. This film directed by Hansal Mehta has been in the news for a long time. It premiered at the London Film Festival last year in 2023 and since then it has been praised tremendously. The nearly 1-minute teaser has everything that increases the excitement for this thriller film. The story begins with the search for a missing child, which turns into a murder case. Kareena Kapoor plays British-Indian detective Jasmeet Bhamra in the film and she looks great in every frame. The story of this film has been written by Aseem Arora, Kashyap Kapoor and Raghav Raj Kakkar. With this film, Kareena Kapoor is starting her new innings as a producer. In an interview given to ‘Variety’, Kareena told that her character in the film is inspired by the role of veteran Hollywood actress Kate Winslet in ‘Mayor of Easttown’. Kareena said, ‘I like ‘Mayor of Easttown’ very much and when Hansal came to me, I said that this is something I always wanted to do. So we have made slight changes in the story and character on the same lines.
