‘The Buckingham Murders’ flopped in 2 days, re-released ‘Tumbaad’ also beat Kareena’s film

Kareena Kapoor never thought that ‘The Buckingham Murders’ would prove to be the weakest film of her career. On the opening day, this film earned less than the actress’ debut film ‘Refugee’. However, on the second day i.e. Saturday, the film definitely showed some growth. Directed by Hansal Mehta, ‘The Buckingham Murders’ is an action thriller in which Kareena has played the role of a British-Indian detective. She is playing the role of a mother whose child has died, but is engaged in solving the mystery of the murder of a child. It had earned only 1.15 crore on the opening day and now the total collection of two days has become 3.05 crores. The Hinglish version of the film was also released. While it earned 70 lakhs from Hindi, it earned only 45 lakhs from the Hinglish version.
