Nair has scored 664 runs in six innings, which is a world record for scoring the most runs without getting out in List A cricket. he/she has scored four consecutive centuries which is a joint record in the history of 50 over format.

According to a report in Indian Express, Nair is now back on the radar of selectors. 33 year old Nair can make a comeback in the team on the basis of spin bowling along with batting. This player last played for India against Australia in Dharamshala in 2017. In December 2016, Nair became the second Indian to score a triple century in Test cricket by scoring a triple century against England in Chennai. Overall, the right-handed batsman played six Test matches for India and scored 374 runs in seven innings at an average of 62.33.
