“Sammi Deen Baloch spoke at the historic #BalochNationalGathering in Gwadar today, addressing thousands of Baloch men and women on the banks of Bher-e-Baloch (Baloch Sea). he/she gave a message of unity among the Baloch nation, saying, “Forget about facilities and development, we are not even allowed to breathe. Now is the time to unite, time to speak in one voice,” said a post on X from the Baloch Yakjehti Samiti.

On Sunday, thousands of Baloch people gathered near the port city of Gwadar for a Baloch National Assembly, known as Baloch Raji Muchi.

Participants who were unable to reach the designated site in Gwadar due to obstacles created by the Pakistani state were asked to stage sit-ins where they were being stopped, leading to the creation of numerous peaceful protest sites across Balochistan.

In a post on X, Hakeem Baloch, focal person of the Baloch National Movement’s foreign committee, said, “All the strategies used by the state to disperse and defeat the Baloch Raji Muchi have failed. The Baloch are now protesting in Balochistan against the state’s brutality and Baloch genocide. On the other hand, thousands of people have come to Gwadar.”

Earlier, at least three people were killed and several injured as participants of a Baloch protest march clashed with security personnel in different areas of the province on Sunday, Dawn News reported. Despite road blockades put up by authorities, a large number of people managed to reach Gwadar’s Marine Drive from across the province for the Baloch national gathering.
